When you opt to set up an SMSF, the government requires you to set up an investment strategy that outlines your plan for how you’ll invest your money. There are a few approaches you can take by researching or talking with a financial adviser. At Selfmade we provide a useful investment strategy template that you can use as a starting point for developing your investment strategy.
You’re also required to review and lodge an updated version of this document yearly – this is called an annual investment review.
